Top 10 Looks of 2018

It’s hard to believe an entire year has gone by! From personal moments watching my daughter grow from a baby to a now 1 year old, Narayan becoming a loving big brother, Dave going vegan  (which had a huge impact on my own eating habits), and professional accomplishments like launching another collection , working with some of my all-time favorite powerhouse brands, connecting with you all and so much more, I couldn’t have had a better (and busier) year! I hope you all enjoyed Christmas last week – I got to spend some much needed R&R at home with the family after celebrating Minnie’s first birthday on 12/24. After a full week of downtime, completely unplugged from my computer, I’m ready to jump into 2019 full-force! But before we jump into 2019, I’m continuing with my yearly tradition of sharing the year’s most popular outfits, so 2018’s top 10 are below. Cheers to an amazing year to come, and thank you all so much for your continued love and support, it truly means the world to

LG SIGNATURE – innovation meets elegance

When it comes to style, I like to make an impression. The same is true for my home. Beyond furnishings, how do you make your home somewhere you don’t simply reside in, but also a place you love returning to and feel proud of? My experience of the LG SIGNATURE range has made me realise that you no longer need to choose between form and function – you can truly have both. By their definition, they’re home appliances, but to me, they’ve become a whole lot more. I’ve always been a firm believer in investing and you should too. Whether it’s in an item of clothing you’ll get plenty of wear out of, or even the latest tech, the benefits are endless. By simply spending that bit extra to gain premium quality, you can live in confidence knowing your possessions will last the test of time. It may seem easier to go for the cheaper option, especially in a moment of impulse purchasing – believe me, we’ve all been there. But think about it… If you make a snap decision to go for what seems like a gre

Life Lately + My Favorite Shoes for the New Year

Pin It Pin It Pin It Pin It Pin It Pin It Obsessed with my new shoes ! They are so comfy and come in lots of cute colors. Pin It Pin It Love the detail on this cropped sweatshirt  and the cowl neck! Its on sale right now too, 30% off! Pin It Pin It Pin It Pin It Pin It Pin It DETAILS: SHOES | PANTS | SWEATSHIRT Hey hey hey! Hope you guys all had a good Christmas, our kids were wiped out with colds and fevers so it was a super mellow Christmas, poor kiddos. I haven’t posted a whole lot lately, been enjoying time off with the family, so I thought I would do a catch up post with what we have been up to lately. We got C of O  on our new house!! There is still a lot of random details that need to be done, so we decided to wait until everything is 100% done to move in so we don’t have a bunch of contractors in and out once we move in. We talked to a lot of our friends and family who had moved in before it was totally done and said it’s really stressful so as anxious as I

Design Pick: LG Signature Refrigerator

I live for food. I’m obsessed with finding the best restaurants around the world to indulge in, but I also care about what goes into my body and try to maintain a healthy lifestyle. With the LG SIGNATURE refrigerator, my culinary experience at home is taken to a new level. InstaView Door-in-Door is a feature unlike any other. A sleek mirror glass panel on the face of the fridge does more than provide aesthetics. With two simple knocks on the panel, it illuminates like something out of a space age movie and showcases the contents of your fridge. This feature reduces cold air loss and keeps food fresher for longer. One of my favorite elements is Auto Open-Door technology which, as you can probably guess, enables the refrigerator door to be opened without lifting a finger. Not to worry… It won’t simply open unannounced, the InstaView features a smart sensor detector, conveniently located by the foot of the fridge. A light projection on the floor reads ‘Door Open’. Gently stepping on it

Design Pick: LG Signature Air Purifier

Whether I’m cooking a meal or planning a workout, I’m all about a balanced lifestyle. One element that should never be compromised is our health. From this city’s heat,  fog, dust, wind and rain – the weather can cause air quality to be impacted and take its toll on our bodies also. While we can’t control the elements, we are able to indoors. This becomes increasingly important when you consider how frequently we pollute our home environments with fragrances, anti-perspirants and cleaning chemicals. Over a long period of time, these contaminants can actually cause allergies and affect your breathing. But it doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom. With the LG SIGNATURE Air Purifier, indoor air quality can be improved significantly, without taking away from the high-quality design you’d associate with LG SIGNATURE products. The Air Purifier has a clean white profile, complemented by black accents. It comes with Rain View Window – a unique feature that enables you to see air purificatio

Five Favorite Beauty Buys: December 2018

6 Shopping Lessons I Learned the Hard Way

Photo credit: Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia February 1992.   As someone who shops a lot, I had to learn many tough lessons in my 20s about what to buy and when. (Trust me, my Poshmark account is proof that I haven’t always made the best shopping choices!) Now that I’m in my late 30s and I know the value of a dollar—and of a wise purchase—I always keep these things in mind before adding something to my wardrobe. So whether you have shopping anxiety or are a pro, hopefully these tips will be helpful to you. from Girl With Curves https://ift.tt/2SLN1C3

Treatments to Try this Month

What: Vinylux mani at Tips and Toes The atmosphere: Tips and Toes is usually a place I visit when I want a bit of an Asian experience. I recently booked in for a vinylux pedicure at Tips and Toes Al Barsha (my personal favorite branch – their largest and feels like a spa) and paired it with a shoulder massage. The experience: I didn’t start off on the best note because I felt like everyone was flustered, but as soon as I was taken to my station, I was in relaxation mode. If you’re not familiar with vinylux, it’s pretty much a 7 day polish (like a 7 day shellac, where it doesn’t chip and you don’t even need to use the lamp. The therapists just need to use the brand’s own base and top coat to achieve the results. Final note and results: Relaxed (their therapists do give some of the greatest massages), and my pedi looked glossy and did last longer than a week. Cost: AED160 Contact: https://www.tipsandtoes.com Recommended rating: 7/10 What: An all natural fruit body massage The atm

Design Pick: LG Signature OLED TV

As a tech and design fanatic, nothing excites me more than the coming together of both entities. So, you can imagine my excitement upon discovering LG SIGNATURE – a range of products for the home that are innovative, whilst still managing to be aesthetically pleasing. On the one hand, they signify a leap in technological advancements. On the other, a complete reimagining of everyday appliances for the contemporary and sophisticated home. For me, the standout product is the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV – an advanced piece of technology encompassed in a beautifully sleek body. We’re talking about a TV that is slimmer than a smartphone, literally resembling a picture sitting proudly on your wall. But it’s not just style over substance… To go into specifics, it has a bezel-less display and is a mere 3.2mm thin. This, coupled with ‘Perfect Black’ technology and over 8 million self-lighting pixels ensures a uniquely rich visual experience. A term I learnt when I came across the TV is ‘Dolby Vis
